imprint - on the rocks!
Can you guess what this is?
The answer: Plaster of Paris imprint of a beach rock in Mendocino, California. I made this impression as part of a Mendocino Art Center weekend ceramic workshop. Then I used this to imprint into wet clay for a ceramic piece. I Photoshopped my photo to highlight the details.

I was going to say one of those things that have all the pins and you put your hand in and the pins form the shape of your hand !!!! I want to see the finished piece it sounds interesting.......I love this photo it has brilliant color and detail : )
